These days we are not so lucky. Now the people who could not cut it working the fryer at the local burger joint are taking their millions and pouring them into the crazed, neo-indulgence world of “offsets”.

The theory behind these scams is that the consequences of the hedonist bacchanalia that is the rockstar life can be wiped away by bribing some poor Indian bloke to keep using that mule to plow his fields. Or planting trees. Yes, they actually believe this helps... something.
